Adobe Launched Online Photoshop - Adobe Photoshop Express

adobe ph

Online photo editing services like Picnik, Fauxto, FotoFlexer, etc are slowing gaining popularity among web users. For those who wants just some simple alteration to their photos, its a good news; for those who don’t own a copy of licensed Photoshop that’s greater news.

Adobe Photoshop today flex their mucles a bit by introducing their new online photo editor - Adobe Photoshop Express. Adobe Photoshop Express is similar to the above-mentioned services and it includes these following functions for photo editing:

adobe ph

By the look at the functions provided, I’d say it’s more or less complete for simple photo editing except that it doesnt support text adding to photo. So for those who are looking to add watermarks to photos, guess you’ll have to depend on other alternatives.

Adobe Photoshop Express is now on public beta. Each account comes with 2Gb storage capacity.

Edit your photo online with Picnik

edit photo online with picnik

Now, when it comes to online-photo-editing I hope you are not expecting Photoshop facilities like filters, vectorizing, blur tools, etc. Apart from that, Picnik is a cool tool to edit your photos online. Something convenient that let you do the basic things without launching your Photoshop I’d say. More information after jump.

Here’s what Picnik is capable of:

  • One-click photo fixing or in-depth tweaking
  • Crop, rotate, and resize in real-time
  • Tons of special effects, from artsy to fun
  • Works directly with many photo sharing sites (Flickr, Imageshack, Photobucket, etc)
  • No download required, nothing to install!
  • Editing photos online with a browser, Picnik is perhaps the best I’ve seen so far. So if you were to blog somewhere outside without your PC or laptop, make sure you bookmarked Picnik in your del.icio.us
